My tour in France was inspiring in many ways and it was great fun visiting the bookstores whose owners had invited me. Many of them had just recently taken over their bookstores and transformed them into places with rugs, soft lights and an exciting collection of books, making these bookstores a cool place to visit. At the Lire en Poche Bookfaire in Gradignan, Bordeaux, my very skilled translator Esther Sermage got the faire’s prize for best translation of the year. She got it for her translation of Buster’s ears (Busters öron). Congratulations!
